Five Year Waiver information
In the event the Retail Leases Act applies and a Landlord and Tenant agree to enter into a lease for less than five years, a Tenant needs to waive the right to a minimum five year term. In order to do so, a Tenant must apply to the Victorian Small Business Commission for a Five Year Waiver Certificate.
